Group Financial Controller

We seek the world's most talented individuals with a passion for inventing and building a more prosperous future. As we scale from research and development to full-scale manufacturing, we are looking for an experienced Group Financial Controller to help shape our financial strategy and contribute to our continued growth. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in our journey towards transforming the world through innovation.

We believe the best work is done when collaborating and therefore require in-person presence in our office.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the month-end closing process, consolidation and reporting of financials for the group
  • Work with different departments and stakeholders on forecasting
  • Establish financial modelling systems that will be used for business decisions
  • Set up systems and routines for processing transactions within the group according to current transfer pricing policies
  • Contribute to continuous development, automation and streamlining of the accounting and reporting process with the rest of the finance team
  • Be an active contributor to the development of the company’s professional expertise within accounting and finance
  • Ad hoc tasks and projects
REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
  • 3-5 years proven experience as a Financial controller, Auditor or similar role in Norway
  • Experience with consolidation and reporting in an international company
  • Strong knowledge of financial and administration management principles, practices, and regulatory requirements in Norway
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to understand the strategic goals of the company
  • Good understanding of IT applications in general and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Fluent in English language, verbal and written

  • Introductions  - interviews to learn more about your and talk about 1X and the rolesome text
    • Interview with a member of the Talent Acquisition team
    • Hiring manager / Sr IC / technical interview
  • Team interviews - technical interviews and deep-dives with team members. May include a take home challenge, presentation or problem-solving exercisesome text
    • Technical deep-dive conversation with a team member 
    • Onsite interviews with team members 
  • Final stages - you move to the final roundsome text
    • Expectation management with the hiring manager 
    • We will conduct reference checks
    • Job offer conversation
