Manufacturing Design Engineer

Target start date: immediately.  Relocation provided.

We believe the best work is done when collaborating and therefore require in-person presence in our office locations. 

Responsibilities 

CAD & Technical Documentation

Develop detailed 2D & 3D technical drawings for manufacturing (exploded views, assembly instructions...)

Define and document critical safety features on technical drawings.

Maintain accurate CAD-based BOMs and guarantee proper revision control.

Design for Assembly (DFA)

Ensure that tolerances, GD&T, and material selection align with manufacturing capabilities.

Work with quality and supply chain teams to ensure parts meet quality and cost targets.

Investigate and resolve design-related production issues to improve efficiency and quality.

Safety & Compliance

Ensure compliance with safety standards for robotic systems (ISO, CE, OSHA, UL...)

Collaborate with other teams to ensure certifications for humanoid robotic systems.

Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams

Work with mechanical, electronics and manufacturing engineers to ensure seamless system integration.

Participate in design reviews, failure analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
