Quality Inspection Specialist

As we scale from research and development to full-scale manufacturing, we are looking for a Quality Inspection Specialist to join our team. 

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections on incoming, in-process, and final parts using precision measurement tools, ensuring compliance with GD&T, engineering drawings, and quality standards.

• Develop and refine inspection workflows to improve efficiency, optimize part flow, and establish clear inspection criteria and documentation.

• Serve as the primary decision-maker for part acceptance or rejection, collaborating with engineering, production, and quality teams to resolve issues and implement corrective actions.

• Continuously evaluate and improve inspection procedures, leveraging automation and best practices to enhance accuracy and efficiency.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant inspection area, ensuring all measurement tools and equipment are properly calibrated, maintained, and in working order.

• Develop and maintain high-quality documentation, including metrology protocols, inspection reports, and quality manuals, to support compliance and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Train and mentor team members on inspection techniques, quality standards, and proper tool usage to maintain consistency and accuracy.
