2014
Beginnings
Originally founded as Halodi Robotics, CEO Bernt Øyvind Børnich founded the company to realize a new solution: general purpose robots that can coexist with humans and elevate humanity.
2018
Revo1 Powers Up
Inspired by human tendon actuation, we developed the world’s highest torque to weight drive servo motor, Revo1. Tailored explicitly for low gear-ratio robotics and flexible mechanics.
2022
EVE deployed in factories
We deployed wheeled factory humanoid into customers facilities globally to start handling industrial tasks autonomously.
NEO Beta
2023
1X bets on the home
After successful enterprise deployments, we realized machine intelligence needed a more wholistic view of the surrounding world. So, we started building NEO to open the door to humanoids that live and learn among us.
2024
Introduced NEO Beta
In 2024 we shared NEO with the world for the first time after making a commitment to develop humanoids alongside humans.
